Xi says China, US can be partners, friends

BEIJING -- Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Friday that China and the United States share extensive common interests and broad space for cooperation, and can be partners and friends.

Xi made the remarks during a phone conversation with US President-elect Donald Trump.
