Trilateral journalist exchange emphasizes role in cooperation

Lee Hee-sup, secretary-general of TCS, said at the closing ceremony of the ninth Trilateral Journalist Exchange Program on Saturday that journalists hold the power to bridge gaps and highlight the shared aspirations and culture of the three countries.

"The role of media in fostering mutual trust and cooperation cannot be overstated," Lee said.

Through interactions, questions and reflections, journalists have embodied the spirit of trilateral cooperation, he said, adding that the stories they craft from the experience will not only inform the public but also contribute to shaping the future of trilateral relations.
