Roborock tops global smart robotic vacuums market in 2024

Chinese smart home cleaning technology company Roborock has secured the No 1 position globally in both sales volume and revenue for smart robotic vacuums in 2024, according to the latest data from the US market research company International Data Corp.
This marks the first time a Chinese brand has surpassed US company iRobot in annual sales volume in smart robotic vacuums, solidifying Roborock's leadership in the industry.
Roborock captured 16 percent of the global market in sales volume and 22.3 percent market share in sales revenue in 2024, with annual shipments surging by 20.7 percent year-over-year, data from IDC showed. Following Roborock, the rankings are iRobot, Ecovacs, Xiaomi and Dreame.
Roborock reported annual revenue of 11.93 billion yuan ($1.65 billion), a remarkable 37.82 percent increase from the previous year. Notably, in the last quarter of 2024, its revenue skyrocketed by 65.94 percent year-over-year, underscoring accelerating market demand.
