Artist Chiharu Shiota's 'mysterious' works on display in Beijing

The exhibition gathers several large installations, to immerse the audience in red threads that fall from the ceiling to the ground, white plastic tubes and dark rooms — the three hues that Shiota primarily uses to represent life, purity and universe.
Delivering an Eastern philosophical touch, her works usher people into a state of meditation, to ponder existential questions and at the same time thinking of ways to connect with others.
