Cosmo Lady sees revenue growth, despite challenges

Despite a challenging economic climate, Cosmo Lady, which is one of China's largest lingerie enterprises, realized revenue growth in 2024, according to the company's financial report.

The report, which was released on Friday, said the Hong Kong-listed company recorded revenue of 3.01 billion yuan ($414.5 million) in 2024, marking a 9.18 percent increase on the previous year.

Brand building, product research and development, sales channel expansion, and supply-chain management have collectively driven the strong growth in the company's performance, according to the report.

In terms of overall operations, the company has strengthened its cooperation with online partners and successfully increased its market share online. Additionally, in offline store expansion, the company defied the trend by opening more than 850 new stores.

To better respond to changes in market demand, the company has optimized its supply-chain management by introducing a flexible ordering system and a rapid replenishment mechanism, helping effectively reduce inventory risks and improve cash flow efficiency.

The company expects to double the number of its pure cotton brand stores and performance, with the e-commerce business also projected to become one of the key drivers of its performance in 2025.
