This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand.

On March 28, a copyright signing ceremony for the Thai version of Xi Jinping Among the People: Moments in Focus was held at the Chinese exhibition booth during the 23rd Bangkok International Book Fair 2025.

The signing ceremony was part of a series of events organized by Guangxi Normal University Press Group Co Ltd during the book fair.

The book, compiled by Xinhua News Agency, has been published in simplified Chinese by Xinhua Publishing House. Drawing from the Xinhua News Agency's series of reports of the same title, the book carefully selects over 60 photos capturing the remarkable moments of Chinese President Xi Jinping's governance. Organized chronologically, the book vividly narrates the heartwarming stories behind these photos through text and images.

Yu Chunhua, deputy manager of Thai publisher Hongsamut.com Co Ltd, highlighted China and Thailand's close ties in various fields like history, culture, economy, trade and tourism, which not only piques Thai readers' curiosity about China's landscapes but also ignites a strong interest in the role played by Chinese leaders in national development.

He added that the moments captured in the book not only showcase the president's intimate interactions with people but also illustrate his care for the livelihoods and attention to grassroots citizens.
