When asked about casting the leads for Superman, Safran shared behind-the-scenes insights, revealing that the team had agreed not to make the film unless they found the perfect actor for Superman — a role Corenswet ultimately secured.
As of Tuesday, the film has grossed over 53 million yuan ($7.4 million) at the box office, according to industry tracker Maoyan Pro.
