Immersive theater experience comes out of the fog

The stage play In the Fog will be performed from Jan 23 to 25 at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center.

The play constructs an absurd, mist-shrouded world through a layered portrayal of its protagonist. Thick fog fills the theater while carefully designed soundscapes envelop the audience, creating an immersive environment that feels almost otherworldly. As the story unfolds, viewers are drawn into the protagonist's journey.

Producer and lead actor Wang Sa, who made an unconventional career shift from the venture capital industry to theater, leads the production. Through this play, she hopes to offer audiences a different theatrical experience.

"Our creative team brings together talents from various industries, as well as the arts and cultural fields. We are not confined by traditional theatrical frameworks. With diverse perspectives and reflections on society and aesthetics, we devoted ourselves to creating this work. We believe it will be a fresh, engaging, and rewarding experience for audiences," Wang said.
