At least 8 killed, 19 injured as bus overturns in eastern Mexico

MEXICO CITY -- At least eight people have been killed and 19 others injured after a bus overturned in the eastern Mexican state of Veracruz, according to state authorities.
The accident occurred Wednesday when a bus operated by Conexion overturned into a ravine in the Sierra de Huayacocotla region in northern Veracruz.
The injured have been sent to hospitals for medical treatment, the Secretariat of Civil Protection of the state said on Facebook.
