Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said that as permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, China and the United Kingdom would benefit from more exchanges and cooperation, which also serve the interests of the wider world.
Guo made the comments at Friday's regular press briefing when asked to confirm the upcoming visit of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to China.
