China underlines Venezuelan right to sovereignty

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Friday that Venezuela is a sovereign country and has the right to independently choose its cooperation partners.
Guo's remarks came after a United States official said on Thursday that the current US administration is allowing China to purchase Venezuelan oil but not at "unfair, undercut" prices.
