JAC Group, one of China's major automakers, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with global braking systems leader Brembo to deepen long-term collaboration and jointly advance innovation in next-generation vehicle platforms.
The agreement, signed on Thursday, marks a milestone for both companies, laying a solid foundation for broader cooperation based on a shared commitment to future mobility technologies, said the companies.
Under the partnership, JAC and Brembo will work together to upgrade braking technologies and deploy advanced software solutions, addressing the rapidly evolving demands of China's automotive market.
Xiang Xingchu, JAC chairman and president, said the new agreement opens a new chapter of complementary strengths and collaborative innovation to deliver safer and more advanced driving experiences, adding that the two have already built a strong foundation through their cooperation on the ultra-luxury Maextro S800 model.
Brembo CEO Daniele Schillaci highlighted China as a strategically important market for the company.
He said the partnership represents an important step in Brembo's transformation into a full solutions provider, combining world-class braking hardware with proprietary software and digital capabilities to deliver integrated, high-value solutions for customers.
