Shehuo performance sets Guinness World Record in Qinghai

The Hehuang Intangible Cultural Heritage Gala, and an attempt for the Guinness World Records title for the largest Shehuo performance, took place in Haidong, Qinghai province on Feb 26, according to China News Service.

Traditional Shehuo performances, including the traditional dances and banquet songs of the Hui ethnic group, were presented during the event.

Following assessment by a Guinness World Records adjudicator, a total of 3,456 participants were confirmed to have effectively taken part, breaking the Guinness World Record for the "largest Shehuo performance".
