The Molly 20th Anniversary Exhibition, co-organized by Pop Mart and Hong Kong artist Kenny Wong, will open at the Fosun Foundation in Shanghai on Saturday and will run until May 10. As the second stop of Molly's 20th anniversary world tour, it is the largest offline IP-themed exhibition of Molly to date.
Created by Wong in 2006, Molly is one of Pop Mart's most iconic IPs.
With the theme "the little galaxy", the exhibition continues the classic narrative of its Hong Kong stop, tracing Molly's 20-year journey through original manuscripts, classic collectible figurines, highly restored studio scenes, and precious works spanning two decades.
Newly unveiled themed pavilions — including Molly, Baby Molly, Angry Molly, Space Molly, and Royal Molly — interpret the multiple cores of imagination, innocence, courage, and guardianship.
