China is set to launch three major trade and consumption campaigns in April under its "Big Market for All: Export to China" initiative to better integrate import promotion with consumption expansion and unlock fresh opportunities in the country's vast market.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, the three events will be held in Hainan, Shandong and Chongqing, with total attendance expected to exceed three million.
Last month, Commerce Minister Wang Wentao said that the country would host more than 100 related events and deepen cooperation through dedicated trade promotion activities.
Launched in November, the initiative features a series of events designed from the perspective of China's trading partners to expand import channels and facilitate the entry of more high-quality products and services from around the world into the Chinese market.
