Bangladeshi journalist visits Simola village: A place of happiness

Bangladeshi journalist Mohammad Saiyedul Islam has spent seven years exploring China, reaching more than 300 cities. His latest stop brought him to Simola village in Tengchong, Yunnan province, a 500-year-old Va ethnic village. In the Va ethnic language, Simola means a place of happiness. Once a remote and quiet border village, it has transformed into a vibrant travel destination where locals have built prosperous lives through entrepreneurship right at their doorsteps. Through his journey, Saiyedul highlights the village's authentic daily life and the secrets behind its modern-day prosperity.
