Memorial ceremony pays respects to martyrs Wu Shi and He Sui in Fuzhou

After the ceremony, guests held discussions on inheriting the hero spirit.

Lin Feng, vice-mayor of Fuzhou, noted that General Wu was an outstanding representative of the predecessors of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, and the national reunification he pursued all his life is gradually becoming a reality with the efforts of generations.

Lin also expressed his expectation to work with art troupes to launch more stage plays, film and television works that tell stories of heroes.
