China leads global humanoid robot shipments

At the 2026 WIC Asia-Pacific Summit, Shen Jian, CEO of Digit (Shenzhen) Technology, noted that China shipped 15,000+ humanoid robots last year — out of a global total of fewer than 20,000 — taking the lead in achieving large-scale production, supported by its strong supply chain.
