UN Chinese Language Day fosters cross-cultural friendship in London

Under the theme "Chinese: Sparkling Colorful Dreams", a total of 130 students and teachers from Highgate Junior School in north London gathered on Wednesday to celebrate the 2026 United Nations Chinese Language Day, exploring Chinese patterns and colors, trying traditional handicrafts, and experiencing Chinese kung fu workshops.

The event included six on-site cultural workshops and an exhibition of traditional Chinese patterns, colors and Confucian culture. The programs offered participants an immersive experience of the depth and unique appeal of the Chinese language and culture.
