Zelensky proposes holding negotiations with Russia in Azerbaijan: media

BAKU -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday he is ready to hold the next stage of negotiations with Russia in Azerbaijan, local media reported on Saturday.

He made the remarks following his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the Azerbaijani city of Gabala, Report news agency said, citing a press statement.

Zelensky noted that Ukraine is prepared to resume a trilateral negotiating format and conduct talks in Azerbaijan in the near future, recalling previous meetings held in Turkiye and Switzerland with US participation.
