More than 200 delivery drivers moved into a dedicated two-story residence in Beijing's Chaoyang district on Tuesday as part of an initiative to provide affordable housing for workers who find it challenging to afford decent apartments in the city.

Originally constructed in the early 2000s, the building has undergone standardized renovations and upgrades. It is now equipped with smart locks, 24-hour hot water, and shared laundry facilities. Each room accommodates eight beds, and residents pay only 850 yuan ($124.3) per month, plus an additional 150 yuan for services.
