Beijing praises Czech PM's one-China comments

China commends Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis's recent reaffirmation of his government's commitment to the one-China policy and his calls for an improved relationship with Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Wednesday.

It serves the fundamental interests of the two countries and the common aspiration of the two peoples to keep China-Czech relations stable and healthy, Guo said.

China is ready to work with the Czech Republic to enhance political mutual trust, conduct dialogue and cooperation across various areas to promote bilateral relations, and return to the track of healthy and stable development, he said.
