The company's renowned corps de ballet delivered a strikingly unified and powerful ensemble performance, while the National Ballet of China symphony orchestra, led by music director Zhang Yi and concertmaster Wang Xiaomao, offered a moving, emotionally charged live score. The timeless charm of classical ballet resonated throughout the theater, leaving every audience member enthralled.

As one of the most frequently performed and influential works in the classical ballet repertoire, Swan Lake has held a central role on worldwide stages since its 1877 premiere. Tchaikovsky's score merges the drama of symphonic music with the visual storytelling of dance, marking a milestone in the evolution of ballet music. For audiences, Swan Lake has become synonymous with ballet itself.
