Against the backdrop of shifting global trade and investment dynamics, diplomats, business leaders, and academics gathered in Sydney for the release of the latest edition of EKONOMOS, a publication focused on economic cooperation and international engagement.
The May 29 event marked the launch of the publication's seventh issue since it was founded by the Australian Business Summit Council Inc in 2019.
The latest issue features contributions from 27 authors and covers global trade and investment trends, economic diplomacy, entrepreneurship, infrastructure development, sustainability, governance, education, and international engagement.
Frank Alafaci, president of the Australian Business Summit Council Inc, said that economic diplomacy has become one of the defining forces shaping international relations in the 21st century.
