Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha passes away

BANGKOK -- Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha, the eldest daughter of Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn, passed away on Thursday at age 47 after more than three years of hospitalization, the Bureau of the Royal Household announced on Friday.
In a statement, the bureau said the princess passed away at 7:48 pm local time at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok, where she had been receiving treatment since December 2022.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha lost consciousness on Dec 14, 2022, after suffering a sudden heart problem while training her dogs.
The king has ordered the bureau to arrange a funeral with the highest royal honors.
