Response work mobilized after deadly Guangxi explosion

All follow-up response work is moving forward in order after the Thursday explosion that killed seven people and wounded 17 in Xing'an county, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, local government officials confirmed.
Medical updates show all injured victims are in stable condition after receiving hospital treatment.
The county mobilized over 300 government staff, who were split into more than 50 dedicated work groups to conduct comprehensive door-to-door inspections covering the blast site and adjacent residential areas.
Technicians are still assessing the structural safety of buildings within the blast zone, and every resident in the affected zone has been evacuated away from potential hazards. Authorities have built 40 emergency disaster tents.
In addition, special service teams have been arranged to provide continuous consolation, psychological comfort, and living assistance for family members of the deceased and injured victims.
Local police are conducting a probe into the cause of the explosion.
