Iranian FM says to start new round of talks with US on Friday

TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said Tuesday that Iran and the United States plan to start negotiations Friday on a final agreement.

He made the remarks at a meeting with representatives of foreign diplomatic missions broadcast on state television.

The new round of talks between the two sides will cover Iran's nuclear program and lifting sanctions, according to him.
