Balanced development fuels a virtuous cycle in China's economy

On June 16, David Blair, vice-president of the Center for China and Globalization, stated at the "CEO: Grow with China" roundtable held in Xi'an that China's development has expanded from a few big cities to prosperous Xi'an and the whole western region, where villagers live well and earn extra income via small businesses. He stressed that coordinated urban, rural and western development fuels steady domestic demand, and this virtuous cycle underpins China's future growth.
