Heavy firing, explosions reported in Pakistan's Karachi

ISLAMABAD -- Heavy firing followed by explosions was reported in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Saturday, local media said.

No official confirmation regarding casualties or the cause of the firing and explosions has been made yet.
