Ancient American civilizations exhibition set to debut in Shanghai

On Top of the World Tree: Ancient Civilizations of the Americas will open at the Shanghai Museum on People's Square from July 8 to Nov 14 next year. Described as the world's largest and most comprehensive exhibition of ancient American civilizations, it will feature 1,129 groups of nearly 3,000 artifacts from Mexico, Peru and China. "This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience," says museum director Chu Xiaobo.
