During their stay in Beijing, the delegation visited prominent cultural landmarks including the Tongzhou Grand Canal Museum, the Palace Museum and the Temple of Heaven. They also took part in a multinational traditional costume showcase and participated in interactive workshops on Chinese martial arts, Peking Opera and folk music.
In Hefei, the young participants toured local high-tech enterprises and engaged in hands-on experiences with local crafts such as calligraphy, fan painting and paper-cutting, gaining insight into the artisan spirit embodied by the "four treasures of the study" — the brush, ink, paper and inkstone — alongside the aesthetics of Chinese folk art.
They also sampled Anhui teas and prepared seasonal delicacies including qingtuan (sweet green rice balls) and mooncakes, gaining a flavorful introduction to China's rich culinary culture.
