Shoe factory fire leaves 28 dead in Fujian

A fire at a shoe factory in Jinjiang city under Quanzhou city, East China's Fujian province, on Thursday has killed 28 people, Xinhua News Agency reported.
The blaze broke out at around 12:00 inside a multi-story production facility located in Jiangtou village, Chendai town. Emergency dispatchers immediately deployed 183 firefighters and 35 rescue vehicles to the scene.
