For Veldesen Yaputra, an Indonesian blogger, this is his second visit to Shanxi. He plans to tell the story of Shanxi's culture with painting as his medium. "Chinese architecture is open and integrates well with nature, with colors that harmonize beautifully," he said. "Many architectural details are accented with green, symbolizing sustainability and the coexistence of architecture and nature."
The group also visited the Shanxi Museum to see the Splendors of Timber and Earth exhibition hall, where they learned about the province's traditional timber construction techniques through artifact models and historical documents.
Artem Usov, a visual blogger from Russia, said studying architectural models before seeing real ancient sites helped him gain a clearer grasp of building structures. "I cannot wait to visit these time-honored relics in person," he said.
The group will continue their journey across Jinzhong, Xinzhou, Shuozhou, and Datong. They will record their visits via short videos, photography, and paintings to share Shanxi's stories with audiences at home and abroad.
