China to release information on Wang Yi's meetings in Manila in due course

China will release information in due course regarding Foreign Minister Wang Yi's possible meetings with counterparts on the sidelines of upcoming China-ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Monday.

Wang will attend the China-ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Manila, the Philippines, on Wednesday.

Asked whether Wang would meet US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who has reportedly expressed openness to such a meeting, Lin Jian said details would be released in due course.

He gave a similar response when asked to confirm a reported meeting between Wang and Philippine Foreign Secretary Theresa Lazaro during the gathering.

"Specific information will be released in due course. Please stay tuned," Lin said.
