5.0-magnitude earthquake hits Qinghai in NW China: CENC

BEIJING -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Xinghai county of Northwest China's Qinghai province at 4:04 pm on Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter was monitored at 35.31 degrees north latitude and 99.56 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, the center said.
