Inner Mongolia tunnel collapse kills 4, injures 6

A tunnel collapse at a compressed air energy storage project in Ulaanqab, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has claimed four lives and left six others injured on Friday.
The accident occurred at about 3:50 am on Friday at a tunnel section under construction by a branch of China Railway Construction Corporation in Zhuozi county, Ulaanqab, Xinhua News Agency reported.
Emergency response teams arrived at the scene shortly after the collapse to carry out rescue operations. The injured have been taken to hospitals for treatment, while on-site management, accident investigation and follow-up procedures are underway.
