China extends anti-dumping probe into Canadian starch imports

China's Ministry of Commerce announced on Friday that it is extending its anti-dumping investigation into pea starch imports from Canada.

According to the announcement, the investigation will be extended until Feb 12 next year given the complexity of the case. The ministry said the extension was in accordance with relevant regulations.

The ministry initiated the investigation on Aug 12 last year.
