One mine worker killed in Shanxi

One person was killed in a work safety accident on Wednesday at Xiqu mine, a coal mine operated by Shanxi Coking Coal Group in Shanxi province, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The mine has been suspended from production, and relevant government departments are conducting an investigation into the accident, according to the statement.
Xiqu mine, a branch of the company, has an annual approved coal production capacity of 2.7 million tons, accounting for 5.67 percent of the company's total capacity, the statement said.
