Jingdezhen, in East China's Jiangxi province, recently gained further recognition when UNESCO inscribed the Jingdezhen Handicraft Porcelain Industry Sites on the World Heritage List on July 25, bringing China's total number of World Heritage sites to 61.

The China National Symphony Orchestra has joined the production of a promotional film that celebrates the event.

The orchestra was invited to take part in the full creative and recording process for the film, When World Heritage Meets the Symphony, using orchestral music and visual storytelling to highlight Jingdezhen's centuries-old porcelain-making traditions.

The orchestra led the project's creative planning, music design, arrangement, and coordination with the film's visual production. Rather than serving simply as background music, the score was designed to help structure the narrative, shape the emotional progression, and connect the different stages of Jingdezhen's porcelain industry.
