Hundreds attend Global Natural History Day finals in Shanghai

He encouraged contestants to appreciate the importance of harmonious coexistence by respecting and revering nature, while calling on more young people to approach nature and explore science with courage and ambition.

A total of 127 first, 128 second and 131 third prizes were awarded at the finals for exhibition works. The event also recognized organizational excellence, outstanding educators and model institutions that have contributed to youth science education.

During online presentation sessions, expert guests talked about the event's philosophy, presentation standards and scientific exploration, highlighting outstanding works from all 14 participating regions.

The competition examined not only natural science knowledge but also emphasized the cultivation of comprehensive abilities and practical skills, with the aim of enabling students to transform personal interests into scientific research achievements through sustained study and in-depth exploration.
