Among the regular speakers, Li Langtao, former deputy curator of the Zhaoling Museum in Xianyang, Shaanxi, has used projected murals on the arrow tower wall to explain the rank-related codes behind silk shawls worn by ladies of the Tang court. History vlogger Yang Wenjin has drawn laughter with lively Q&A sessions about what Tang people ate, wore, and how they spent a typical day. Meanwhile, intangible heritage inheritor Wang Haitao has set up a shadow puppet stage inside the barbican, bringing episodes from Journey to the West to life.
