Techlex's Qinggang Special Zone has four business segments — feed processing, pig breeding, pig slaughtering and food processing — forming an integrated, full industrial chain development model.
"This closed-loop management model, covering everything from feed production at the source to food products at the end of the chain, is our group's core competitive advantage," Sun said. "It ensures product traceability, allowing us to know precisely which batch of feed and which farm each piece of pork came from. This makes it possible to maintain control throughout the entire process, from farm to table."
At the same time, efficient coordination across different stages of the industrial chain has greatly improved the group's operational efficiency and resilience to market risks, she said.
Fang Chengguang, president of Techlex's Qinggang Special Zone, said food processing currently makes the largest contribution to the company's profits, with a gross profit margin of around 25 percent. He expects the output value of the company's prepared-food project in Qinggang to reach about 150 million yuan for the full year.
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Fang said the company will expand into Hebei and Shandong provinces, as well as Shanghai, rapidly expanding sales channels for fresh products and increasing their added value. In prepared foods, the company will gradually develop small-package and finely processed products, while vigorously advancing project construction, investment promotion and business cooperation at the Ufoodvalley Industrial Park.
Techlex envisions Ufoodvalley as a platform built by the local government to bring together outstanding food companies from across the swine industry, while also incubating and developing a number of high-quality food-processing businesses of its own. The park will focus on projects centered on sausages, meatballs and meat fillings.
"Qinggang county has a uniquely favorable business environment," Fang said. "The local government has pledged to respond to every reasonable need of companies while avoiding unnecessary interference in their businesses, and it has provided us with a great deal of support in our business operations."
The Ufoodvalley Industrial Park is being promoted by the local government, while Techlex is taking the lead in investment promotion and operations.
"Once projects enter the park, they may be able to reach full production capacity quickly and contribute to the development of Qinggang county's economy," Fang said.
