The International Alliance Combating Telecom and Cyber Fraud was established on Sept 10 in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province, with 46 founding countries.
Participants welcomed China's initiative to establish the alliance and emphasized its significance for global public security, expressing confidence in its potential to curb the global spread of telecom and cyber fraud.
Initiated by China as part of efforts to advance the Global Security Initiative and the Global Governance Initiative, the alliance aims to create a professional intergovernmental platform with broad participation from law enforcement agencies worldwide.
Its core mission is to strengthen international cooperation against cross-border telecom and cyber fraud and related crimes, while maintaining the capacity for operational coordination and joint action.
