Fire at Foshan textile factory kills eight, injures one

On Sunday afternoon, a fire broke out in the factory of a textile company in Shunde district of Foshan, Guangdong province, killing eight and injuring one, according to Xinhua News Agency.
The cause of the tragedy is still being investigated, authorities said.
Located about 20 kilometers away from Guangzhou, Foshan's Shunde district is a major manufacturing hub. It is home to many foreign-funded companies, joint ventures, and privately run enterprises.
