China, US delegations hold trade talks in New York

The Chinese and United States delegations, led by Chinese Vice-Premier He Lifeng, and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, convened in New York on Sunday for talks on economic and trade issues.

Guided by the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and upholding the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation, the two sides held candid, in-depth and constructive exchanges on economic and trade issues, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

The two sides exchanged views on key economic and trade issues of common concern, as well as the implementation of consensus reached in previous talks, and also held dialogues on artificial intelligence-related issues.
