GAC Group's low-altitude mobility tech company inks agreement with Dunhuang

Guangdong GOVY TECH Co, a low-altitude mobility technology company under automobile manufacturer GAC Group, signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the municipal government of Dunhuang, Gansu province, on Tuesday, with the company's flying car AirCab completing its first public flight demonstration in the city.

Relying on Dunhuang's rich cultural and tourism scenes and the company's technological innovation capabilities in low-altitude travel, both parties aim to develop a demonstration hub integrating low-altitude transportation and tourism.

Through a collaborative model that combines governmental and enterprise strengths, the collaboration offers a replicable and perceptible operational pathway for the integration of low-altitude transportation and tourism development, according to the company.

Both parties will initially focus on demonstration and promotion to create a "Flying Silk Road" cultural tourism initiative and then move to pilot operations to enhance infrastructure and diversify low-altitude cultural tourism offerings.

They ultimately aim to establish low-altitude links between scenic areas and develop a model integrating transportation and tourism that can be replicated nationwide.
