12 cultural relics and artworks seized by UK police returned to China

Twelve cultural relics and artworks seized by London's Metropolitan Police during investigations were returned to China at a handover ceremony at China's UK embassy on Wednesday.

Mark Gooding, director Asia Pacific at Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the UK, said at the ceremony that cultural heritage forms part of our shared human story, and that preserving it for future generations is a responsibility that transcends borders and politics.
