An East African edition of a global poetry event was held in Nairobi, Kenya, presenting rich traditional Chinese culture — including poetry, tea ceremonies, face-changing art, and martial arts — to locals.

The celebration, held on Sept 25, was the first event held in East Africa under the "We Share the Same Moon — Mid-Autumn Poetry Gathering", a global event series by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The event was organized by the China General Chamber of Commerce in East Africa.
