Embodied intelligence skills competition to be held in Shanghai

A skill competition of embodied intelligences that integrate technologies, ideas, and ecosystems of the sector will be held from Oct 23 to Oct 25 in Shanghai, showcasing the innovative practices and vibrant ecosystems of embodied intelligence to the world, according to the event's organizers.
Taking the International Embodied Intelligence Competition as the key event, the 2026 Global Developer Pioneers Summit will hold an opening ceremony and multiple developer activities. The conference aims to become a demonstration platform for real-world practical applications of embodied intelligence, contributing to the technological innovation and large-scale implementation of robots and embodied intelligence in China.
The International Embodied Intelligence Competition has placed a focus on practical requirements in industrial, service, and special operations. More than 200 teams and 300 robotics companies are expected to compete across 23 categories, with the event aiming to create 100 high-value scenarios and reach a deployment scale of tens of thousands of units.
The conference, spanning key sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, and services, will systematically connect technology, developers, industry, capital, and real-world scenarios. It seeks to help cutting-edge global technologies find applications in China and elevate Shanghai's position in global AI innovation.
