Hukou Waterfall sees peak influx of tourists

During the 2026 National Day holiday, the Hukou Waterfall scenic area — located at the border of Jixian county in Shanxi province and Yichuan county in Shaanxi province along the Yellow River — has welcomed flocks of tourists, with crowds thronging both banks of the waterfall.
The scenic area has introduced extra cultural activities for tourists, such as gong and drum performances, mass choral singing, and land-based boat rowing.
